Ok every one today is Halloween , according to the calender in australia. SO Hip Hip Hooray for those of you celebrating it.
I have to admit I have had some good laughs at ROMPS blog especially the one about keeping the zombies under control.
Although I am now way way way past Broken Hill and into deep dark South west Queensland. No seriously its more like open, spear ( and wire) grass plains with an ever changing eco and geological system. From Floodplains with red sand and tall stands of river gums and hop bushes to mulga and boab trees on the high rocky strata ranges.
So here below is the short video I took in Broken Hill showing the Line of Lode – the huge hill that makes Broken Hill. It is now an underground operation looking for tin, cadmium, silver and copper ore.
The streets in Broken Hill are named after every chemical you can find. So if you need to practice your chemistry table Broken Hill is the place to do it in.
